These Terms of Service govern your use of the Alaturca Furniture website and any order you place with Alaturca Furniture, whether online, by phone, or in person. By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

Using Our Website

You must be the age of majority in your province or territory to place an order with us.

You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes and not to interfere with its operation, copy or reproduce its content without permission, or use our website for fraudulent or unauthorized activities.

Products, Colours and Materials

We make every effort to display our furniture, colours, fabrics, materials, and finishes as accurately as possible. However, colours may appear differently depending on your screen or device.

Because many of our products use natural materials and are handcrafted, variations in wood grain, fabric texture, colour, stitching, and other details may occur. These natural or production variations are not considered defects.

Product dimensions are approximate. Customers are responsible for measuring their space, including doorways, hallways, stairways, elevators, and other access points, before placing an order.

Prices, Taxes and Availability

All prices are shown in Canadian dollars unless otherwise stated. Applicable taxes and delivery charges will be shown before you complete your purchase.

Prices, promotions, product availability, and specifications may change without notice. Changes will not affect orders that have already been accepted.

We make every effort to ensure that product information and pricing are accurate. If an obvious pricing or system error occurs, we reserve the right to cancel the affected order and provide a full refund.

Orders and Order Acceptance

When you place an order, you are submitting a request to purchase the selected products.

An order confirmation confirms that we have received your order. Your order becomes accepted when we confirm the order and begin preparing it for delivery or pickup.

We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order if a product is unavailable, payment cannot be verified, delivery cannot be completed to the provided address, or we reasonably suspect fraudulent activity.

If we cancel an order, any payment received for that order will be refunded.

Custom and Special Orders

Custom or special-order furniture may include selections such as fabric, colour, finish, size, configuration, or other options specifically chosen by the customer.

Because these products are made or ordered specifically for you, custom and special orders may not be cancelled or returned once production or ordering has begun, except where the product is defective or damaged during delivery.

Production and estimated delivery times are estimates and may change due to manufacturing, shipping, weather, or other circumstances outside our control.

Delivery and Assembly

Alaturca Furniture provides delivery and assembly services according to the delivery terms communicated at the time of purchase.

Before delivery, customers are responsible for ensuring that:

• An adult is available to receive the order.

• Hallways, doorways, stairways, elevators, and other access routes are clear.

• Any building requirements, elevator bookings, parking arrangements, or other necessary permissions have been arranged.

• The room where the furniture will be placed is ready and accessible.

Our delivery team will not remove doors or windows, hoist furniture over balconies, or dismantle existing furniture or fixtures unless specifically agreed in advance.

If furniture cannot be delivered because of inadequate access or nobody is available at the scheduled delivery time, additional delivery or re-delivery charges may apply.

Inspecting Your Furniture Upon Delivery

We recommend inspecting your furniture when it arrives.

If you notice damage or missing parts during delivery, please notify our delivery team before they leave whenever possible and contact us as soon as possible with photos and your order information.

Damage During Delivery

If your furniture is damaged during delivery, Alaturca Furniture will accept the return and provide a 100% refund of the purchase price of the damaged furniture.

Alternatively, where appropriate and agreed with the customer, we may offer a repair or replacement.

There will be no return or restocking deduction for furniture that arrives damaged or defective.

Returns

If you change your mind about your purchase, please contact us to discuss your return request.

Returns for reasons other than damage or defects may be subject to delivery, pickup, restocking, or other applicable costs.

Furniture must be returned unused and in its original condition.

Custom, special-order, clearance, and final-sale items may not be eligible for return unless they are defective or damaged during delivery.

Refunds

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method.

For approved returns, refunds will be processed after the returned furniture has been received and inspected.

Refund processing times may vary depending on your payment provider or financial institution.

Warranty

Our furniture is covered against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. If you believe your furniture has a manufacturing defect, contact us with your order information, a description of the issue, and photos where applicable.

Depending on the circumstances, we may repair the furniture, replace the affected part or item, or provide a refund.

The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, natural variations in materials, accidental damage, misuse, pet damage, spills, improper cleaning, exposure to excessive heat, moisture or sunlight, or modifications or repairs not performed or authorized by Alaturca Furniture.

Cancellations

For in-stock orders, cancellation may be possible before the order has been prepared for delivery or pickup.

Once a custom or special-order product has entered production or an order has been prepared or shipped, cancellation may no longer be possible. Any costs already incurred may be deducted where permitted by law.

Promotions and Discount Codes

Promotions and discount offers are valid only during the period stated and for the products or orders specified.

Unless otherwise stated, promotions cannot be combined with other offers.

Discount codes cannot be applied retroactively to completed purchases and may be withdrawn if used in a manner that was not intended.

Customer Photos, Reviews and Content

If you submit a review, photograph, video, comment, or other content to Alaturca Furniture, you confirm that you have the right to share that content.

By submitting content, you give Alaturca Furniture permission to use it on our website, social media, marketing materials, and other business channels.

If you would like us to remove content you have submitted, please contact us and we will review your request.

Intellectual Property

The content on this website, including photographs, videos, product descriptions, logos, graphics, text, and design elements, belongs to Alaturca Furniture or its respective content providers and may be protected by copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property laws.
